The Ceres Investor Practitioner Workshop is a forum for responsible investors to explore practices for integrating material risks and opportunities into their investment practices. The session will feature peer-to-peer learning and information sharing on key themes central to Ceres’ work—climate change, water scarcity and pollution, nature and biodiversity loss, and ensuring a just transition. Participants will engage with investor case studies, frameworks, and solutions that advance resilient, responsible investment strategies. Specific focal topics will be added as we get closer to the workshop.

As expectations for corporate sustainability continue to evolve, companies are reassessing how they set priorities, drive action, and communicate progress. Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) are navigating increasing complexity, balancing ambition, accountability, and business realities across markets and stakeholders. Ceres invites CSOs to a private, off-the-record convening to exchange perspectives on advancing sustainability and climate action in a rapidly changing environment. The discussion will foster both intra- and cross-sector dialogue, creating space to compare approaches, surface shared challenges, and explore opportunities for alignment and collaboration.

Ceres hosts a private Partners Reception that brings the Ceres Community together at a pivotal moment during Climate Week. Partners and invited guests will connect across sectors, share perspectives, and reflect on what’s ahead as work to advance climate action.
Ceres brought together investors, companies, and policymakers from both sides of the aisle—including former Republican members of Congress—for a main stage event at Climate Week NYC 2025. Participants championed the rights of investors and companies to consider all financial risks in decision-making and explored the challenges and investment opportunities in the transition to a clean energy economy.
