Instead of moving the needle on decarbonization, standard allocation models isolate climate strategies into small niches or rely on passive public-market indexes that do not drive systemic change. That framework is now arguably one of the biggest obstacles to funding the climate transition – a ‘reset’ of the approach is needed.
