Laura supports the team's research at the intersection of agriculture and climate change, including how food companies can address emissions in their supply chains. She manages Ceres' Food Emissions 50 initiative and supports companies in the transition to a lower emissions economy.
Prior to joining Ceres in 2025, Laura worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture where she held roles developing environmental policy and leading initiatives to support the organic agriculture sector. Laura also has experience working on small farms and promoting food access through community gardens on Boston's North Shore.
Laura holds a B.S. in environmental science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.S. from Tufts University, where she studied U.S. agricultural policy.
