Looking Back: San Francisco Climate Week 2026
During San Francisco Climate Week 2026, Ceres moderated a forum on climate risk with California Insurance Commissioner candidates, hosted sessions on fiduciary climate risk and grid modernization, and held a reception for partners.
In a first-of-its-kind forum moderated by Ceres, candidates in Californiaâs Insurance Commissioner race underscored the urgency of strengthening climate resilience, ensuring affordability, and stabilizing insurance markets as extreme weather intensifies. We also led a session on Californiaâs next-generation grid, exploring how renewable energy resources and vehicle-to-grid technologies can help build a more efficient and cost-effective energy system.
Ceres expert Dazzle Bhujwala contributed to broader conversations on climate finance, emphasizing the need to better align investment with growth markets and emerging opportunities across the transition.
The week concluded with a Ceres Partners Reception, bringing together businesses, investors, and advocates to connect, share insights, and continue advancing collaborative solutions.
