Kelly Trombley leads the Ceres state policy team, advancing multi-state legislative and regulatory strategies that foster a clean economy and empowering companies through the Ceres Policy Network to advocate for policy solutions to build a more just and resilient world. Throughout her career, Kelly has worked at the intersection of policy, business, and community—shaping initiatives in clean energy, emergency management, sustainable agriculture, and international education.
She brings a unique global perspective, having lived and worked across the U.S., UK, Japan, Ghana, and Zambia, where she began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer implementing agroforestry and community empowerment programs.
Kelly holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, SOAS, where she focused on climate disaster communications and energy policy change, and a B.A. in International Development Studies from UCLA.
