Ceres invites CSOs to a private gathering to discuss strategies for companies to take sustainability and climate action while navigating growing pressures and uncertainty. Ceres is hosting a gathering of the largest North American asset owners and their US-based international peers for a discussion on ‘Investor Engagement in a New Regulatory Environment’. The conversation will dive into key topics related to shareholder rights and investor protection including the shareholder proposal process (i.e. rule 14a-8), stewardship and corporate engagement (e.g. 13G/D reporting, group formation), proxy advisors and voting, and more. This session will aim to address key challenges for investors under the new leadership in the federal government and chart a path forward for continued robust corporate governance activity.
