River joined Ceres in 2022 and is based in the Boston area. In her role, River works across the Ceres Investor Network and Ceres’ policy and financial regulation teams to support institutional investor engagement with policymakers and regulators on key climate and energy issues, among other topics. She coordinates the Investor Network Policy Working Group and also supports efforts to scale climate solutions by making the business case for increasing investment in climate opportunities.
River holds a B.A. from Brandeis University in Environmental Studies and Sociology, with minors in International & Global Studies and Social Justice & Social Policy. Prior to joining Ceres, she worked as an editor for the student newspaper, led an environmental volunteer group, and conducted wildlife tourism research in Bocas del Toro, Panama.
