Reginald (Reggie) Zimmerman is Senior Communications Manager for Ceres’ Climate & Energy team, leading strategic communications for its sector work. Prior to working at Ceres, Reggie was a vice president at a Boston labor relations communication firm and was the director of communications for a Massachusetts-based coalition of community, faith, and labor groups focused on worker rights and economic justice.
Reggie also served as a press secretary for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs under former Governor Deval Patrick, where he spearheaded numerous media outreach efforts on a variety of areas, including land conservation, pollution, power plants, animal health, and public safety.
Reggie has a master's degree in public policy from Northeastern University and a bachelor's degree in history and political science from the University of Massachusetts. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife, daughter, and their two cats.
