As Chief Network Officer, Neal Kemkar oversees all aspects of the organization’s three premier membership networks for investors and companies, including strategic planning, management systems, operations, program implementation, and business development. He directs a diverse team of business and policy experts to expand Ceres’ networks, member benefits, and fee-for-service initiatives that support Ceres’ mission of building a cleaner, more resilient economy.   Â
Before Ceres, Neal established the global policy and regulatory function at Galvanize Climate Solutions, a climate-focused investment firm. Previously, he served in senior roles at General Electric, advising leadership on policy and representing the company before government and stakeholder audiences. His public service includes senior roles at the White House and the U.S. Department of the Interior under the Obama administration, where he helped improve federal permitting for renewable energy and transmission projects.  Â
Neal holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and environmental studies from Brown University and a J.D. from Georgetown Law.Â
