Joelle supports the program director and other members of the water team to help advance Ceres’ mission to reaffirm the business case for sustainable freshwater systems and effective water management.
Joelle is passionate about helping to make a positive change for humans and the planet by engaging with issues of sustainability and conservation. Before coming to Ceres, she received her MSc in Environmental Anthropology from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. She completed her fieldwork and dissertation on the Dark Sky Conservation Movement in New Mexico. Joelle holds her bachelors degree from Colby College where she double majored in environmental studies and anthropology. Joelle also teaches dance and fitness classes at local studios and figure skates.
