Erika Gupta

Erika Gupta is the Head of Sustainability at Siemens Financial Services (SFS) Globally, where she defines and drives the overarching sustainability strategy across SFS's debt, equity, and leasing businesses worldwide. In this leadership role, Erika is instrumental in cultivating an ecosystem of commercial, nonprofit, and government entities to pioneer financing solutions that deliver measurable positive impact. She leads a team that proactively identifies emerging, sustainable business opportunities across the energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and industrial sectors. 
 
Prior to her global appointment, Erika served as Head of Sustainability for SFS Americas and as Research Group Head for Sustainable Buildings and Grids at Siemens Technology, where she oversaw Siemens’ U.S. research portfolio. She also brings a decade of invaluable public sector expertise from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.  
 
Demonstrating her commitment to governance and impact, Erika recently served as a board member for the national non-profit, The Center for Sustainable Energy and is currently serving on ORNL's Directorate Advisory Committee for Energy Science and Technology. Her passion for developing more sustainable technology was ignited early in her career while working at Boston area startups, fueling a journey dedicated to leading transformative change at the intersection of finance, technology, and global sustainability.
