Geoff leads efforts to engage companies and policy makers to support strong and effective climate, clean energy, transportation, and building decarbonization policies across six western states. Geoff has been with Ceres since February 2023.
Prior to joining Ceres, Geoff worked with the Oregon Department of Transportation where he served as Climate Office Policy Lead. His recent efforts have integrated climate change and sustainability principles into state transportation policies, and agency operations and business practices. This includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing resiliency to climate change impacts through policy, planning and research, strategic investments, and project delivery.
Geoff has a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and a master’s degree in community and regional planning from the University of Oregon. He enjoys being in the outdoors, preferably trekking in the high Cascades or working on his small farm in the Willamette Valley.
