Amanda leads research on reducing agricultural methane emissions within corporate supply chains. She engages investors and food companies on strategies to lower methane emissions in order to meet total overall climate goals and minimize business risk.
Prior to joining Ceres in 2023, Amanda worked in the animal feed sector in research and development and technical support roles. She studied the effect of nutrition on dairy and beef production, with a focus on methane emissions, animal efficiency, and on-farm carbon footprinting.
Amanda holds a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from University of Nebraska, a M.S. in animal physiology from Clemson University, and a B.S. in animal sciences from Penn State University.
