Emmie serves as an associate on the Ceres Food and Forests and Water teams, providing programmatic and external partner engagement support to advance Ceres’ strategies on corporate climate leadership, water stewardship, and biodiversity conservation.
She holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environment, Communication, and Society from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). In 2019, she studied at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia where she focused on sustainable production and consumption. Her research included conducting a life cycle assessment to evaluate the environmental impact of denim.
Emmie interned with the Westchester County Department of Planning, and with Oko Farms Aquaponics Education Center. Before joining Ceres, Emmie was the Communications Coordinator at Accelerating Circularity, a nonprofit advancing textile-to-textile recycling and circular supply chains.
Outside of work, Emmie enjoys reading, cooking, ceramics, and spending time outdoors. She is currently based in the New York City area.
