Tamar leads investor engagement with the oil and gas sector on key sustainability issues, including climate-related financial disclosures, transition planning, and emissions reduction. Her work focuses on advancing corporate accountability and aligning industry practices with investor expectations on climate risk.
Previously, Tamar worked on Ceres' Company Network team where she worked with network member companies, namely the financial services sector, to integrate sustainability into core business strategies by leveraging the Ceres Roadmap for Sustainability. Before joining Ceres in 2020, Tamar worked as a business analyst on Sabra's corporate strategy team, where she helped demonstrate the strategic value of plant-based foods and incorporating this topic into the company’s sustainability strategy.
Tamar holds a Master's of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University's Earth Institute and School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), and a bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, and Philosophy from Tel-Aviv University. She is an Alumna of The United World Colleges, Costa Rica.
