Ceres is working with Harvard's premier undergraduate clean energy organization to give students a hands-on opportunity to build investing skills while supporting Ceres' mission. Students decide which publicly traded companies advancing the global energy transition to invest in, through a fund held at Ceres. By training the next generation of clean energy finance professionals, the program builds talent the field urgently needs while generating an annual distribution back to Ceres in support of its mission.
How it works
Students in the Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group complete a student-managed six-week curriculum in financial modeling and energy investing before joining small analyst teams. Each team builds a full investment thesis on a public equity position and presents it to a professional Investment Committee.
The Investment Committee provides feedback on analysis and presentations. Students then make the final investment recommendations, which Ceres has agreed to accept.
