Ceres is pleased to serve as the executive producer and fiscal sponsor of “Earth You Big Ol’ Thing You.”

Hollywood and Nashville stars made a notable guest appearance in a Ceres 2021 special event to support “Earth You Big Ol’ Thing You,” an animated short film inspired by a magical love song to our planet. This one-of-a-kind celebration gave an insider view into the power of music and animation. We hope you’ll join us to make this project a global movement.

Award-winning actress and songwriter Mary Steenburgen, country music’s Grammy-nominated Brothers Osborne, and acclaimed singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas teamed up to write “Earth You Big Ol’ Thing You,” a heartfelt love song to the planet. Working to bring it to life as a short animated film is an award-winning producing and animation team, including Penney Finkelman Cox (Shrek, Prince of Egypt), Michaela Hart (Curious George, RAFT Animation), and Jon Leshay (Storefront Entertainment).

This special event featured an intimate conversation with Mary Steenburgen and the producing team with an exclusive live performance by Brothers Osborne and Lucie Silvas.

We hope this project serves as a reminder to us all of the importance of protecting our incredible planet.
