Dan joined Ceres in 2016 and is a senior director of the Company Network.
He leads multi-stakeholder dialogues with a portfolio of financial services companies. Dan engages with companies on sustainability strategy, disclosure, policy development and programmatic priorities covering topics such as climate and clean energy, water risk management, product integration, and governance for sustainability.
Prior to Ceres, Dan worked at Broadscale Group helping to conceive and launch a pioneering collaboration between a leading real estate company and global energy and mobility companies. Before Broadscale, he spent nearly seven years at GreenOrder and subsequently the Cleantech Group leading sustainability strategy consulting teams and managing client relationships. Dan worked with companies in diverse industries, including financial services, electric power utilities, oil and gas value chain, chemicals, and real estate. Dan began his environmental career at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he helped lead a groundbreaking collaboration with universities and government agencies on biofuels research.
Dan graduated cum laude from Connecticut College where he received a bachelor's degree in environmental studies. He also holds a master's degree in business administration and master's degree in public administration from New York University.
