How We Work With Investors

Ceres works with investors worldwide to improve corporate and public policies on climate change and other environmental, social, and corporate governance issues. As part of this mission, Ceres launched and coordinates the Investor Network on Climate Risk (INCR), an alliance of more than 90 institutional investors and financial firms that collectively manage nearly $10 trillion in assets.

Ceres works with investors worldwide to create a sustainable global economy – an economy where financial risks are identified and minimized through constructive engagement with companies and policymakers and where investment policies and practices enhance the wellbeing of people and natural resources as well as investment returns.

With its unique capacity to foster constructive dialog between its investor, company and environmental members, Ceres guides investors through the key sustainability challenges and opportunities inherent in all asset classes and investment strategies.

Ceres brings more than two decades of credibility, expertise and depth of experience in moving the sustainability agenda with investors, companies, policy makers and advocates.  We focus our investor support on the four critical components of a sustainable investment strategy, as defined in The 21st Century Corporation: The Ceres Roadmap for Sustainability.
