INCR Working Groups

INCR Working Groups offer investors the opportunity to engage with their peers to advance ESG issues on a variety fronts - from corporate disclosure and performance to sustainable policy and regulations. Working groups meet monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly via phone or web meeting and are supported by INCR staff.

INCR Policy Working Group

Investors in this working group engage policy makers on number of key issues and through a variety of vehicles, including in-person meetings, letters, and op-eds. Past engagements have included advancing national and international policies on climate change, energy efficiency financing, and supporting the economic benefits of the Clean Fuel Standards and the Clean Air Act. This working group meets monthly.

SEC/Disclosure Working Group

This working group aims to move the SEC towards greater enforcement of its climate change guidance (issued in February 2010), as well as to address other environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. This working group meets quarterly.

Sustainable Stock Exchanges Working Group

This working group offers investors the opportunities to engage with stock exchanges around the world on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, with the goal of improving exchanges' internal performance and setting higher ESG standards for listed companies. This working group focuses on North American stock exchange and meets monthly.

Integrated Reporting Working Group

This working group provides a voice for investors in the global effort—coordinated by the International Integrated Reporting Committee (IIRC)—to formulate a strong framework for integrated financial and social reporting. This working group meets bi-monthly.
