Washington State Investment Board

Founded in 1981 under Chapter 43.33A of the Revised Code of Washington, the Washington State Investment Board is a small agency with a staff of 79 employees who work in three divisions- Investments, Operations and Public Affairs. The WSIB’s executive director is appointed by the Board to oversee the staff, develop and recommend agency and investment policies for Board adoption and ensure adherence to state policies and laws.
