Massachusetts Office of the State Treasurer

The Massachusetts Office of the State Treasurer oversees duties for the state including cash and debt management, the State Board of Retirement, and the Pension Reserves Investment Management (MA PRIM) Board, which manages the state's Pension Reserves Investment Trust (PRIT), a pooled investment fund that invests the assets of the Massachusetts Teachers' and State Employees' System, and the assets of county, authority, district, and municipal retirement systems that choose to investment in the Fund. The MA Treasurer oversses collectively over $50 billion in assets. They joined INCR in 2011.
