Liz Maw
Chief Executive Officer, NetImpact
Liz Maw has been a leader, speaker, and writer in the fields of next generation sustainability leaders, Millennials and impact careers, and workforce values since joining Net Impact as its CEO in 2004. During her tenure, Net Impact has more than tripled in size, formed partnerships with over 50 global corporations, grown its chapter network to more than 300, and launched new research and projects in campus greening, curriculum change, and workplace sustainability.
Liz has spoken at numerous events, including Economist's Ideas Economy, and The International Corporate Citizenship Conference. Her writing has appeared in GOOD, Huffington Post, GreenBiz, and World Economic Forum, which recognized Liz as a Young Global Leader in 2010. In 2011, Liz was named one of the 100 most influential people in business ethics by Ethisphere.
Prior to leading Net Impact, Liz's professional experience included strategic consulting to nonprofits with the Bridgespan Group, as well as fundraising and direct marketing for nonprofit organizations in New York City and Washington, D.C. She holds a BA with honors from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young sons.
