President, Verisk Climate
Kyle oversees Verisk Climate’s strategy and worldwide operations to provide market-leading data, analytics and software solutions for enterprise climate and environmental risk management. Kyle pioneered Verisk Climate’s new weather and environmentally-based analytics and software tools that enable insurance, corporate and financial services clients to reduce corporate risk and improve resilience in their operations and finances, and increase retention of their customers while meaningfully reducing expenses.
Kyle was senior vice president of Verisk Climate’s Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER) unit, where he was responsible for introducing new products that translate the effects of climate into decision analytics for manufacturers, insurance carriers, and commodities traders. Kyle has more than 15 years of experience in natural hazard risk analysis, mitigation, and modeling. Before joining AER, he led a team of property/casualty catastrophe analysts at Willis Re. He also directed the launch and support of catastrophe models and products at Risk Management Solutions (RMS). Kyle earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Oklahoma.
