Principal, Sustainable Business Strategies
Andy is a long time Ceres supporter, whose first book, The Triple Bottom Line, has become a classic on sustainability. His new book, Talent, Transformation and the Triple Bottom Line (Wiley 2013) describes the relationship between sustainability, employee engagement and business results, and sets forth a new, powerful business case for sustainability. Andy was one of the lead partners in PwC’s global sustainability practice before he started his own company, Sustainable Business Strategies.
He has advised numerous large and small companies and non-profits on how to find their “sustainability sweet spots”- the overlap between business and society. He recently started “The Savitz Report: Where HR Meets Sustainability.” To find out more about Andy, his books, and how organizations can find their sweets spots while increasing employee motivation and commitment go to TheSavitzReport.com.
Andy lives in his office these days, in Brookline, Massachusetts. He is currently revising The Triple Bottom Line for release in October 2013, by which time he will be a total wreck and will have missed the baseball season entirely. The Red Sox are no good anyhow so it is not a great loss.
