Solar Power - In January 2010, New Belgium built a 200kW solar array on top of their Packaging Hall. The array was the largest privately owned in Colorado and contributes over 3% of the electricity used by New Belgium. This installation is part of New Belgium’s work to be a leader on BICEP's key principle of increasing investments in clean energy technology.
At the time it was installed, New Belgium's solar array was the largest privately owned array in Colorado.
