Last week, twenty-three major companies wrote a letter in support of reducing U.S. carbon pollution from power plants. A major milestone in President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, the EPA released standards for carbon pollution from new power plants. The companies wrote to Obama in support of the standards, and urged him to move swiftly toward similar standards for existing power plants.

Businesses that have already set goals for reducing their own emissions believe that similar policy efforts are common-sense solutions to tackling climate change.
