Karen Patterson Greene

Karen Patterson Greene is a Senior Manager in the Development Department where she manages a portfolio of foundations who provide core support for Ceres work. Karen joined Ceres in 2013 and works closely with program staff to identify funding needs, articulate success stories, and develop compelling cases for funder support, particularly around climate and clean energy issues.

Karen Patterson Greene is a Senior Manager in the Development Department where she manages a portfolio of foundations who provide core support for Ceres work.  Karen joined Ceres in 2013 and works closely with program staff to identify funding needs, articulate success stories, and develop compelling cases for funder support, particularly around climate and clean energy issues.

Prior to joining Ceres, Karen served as a project manager for a number of small grassroots environmental organizations, including the Charles River Conservancy, MassRecycle, the Waltham Land Trust and the Great Swamp Watershed Association (NJ).  She holds a BA (Clark University) and an MS (Virginia Tech) in Geography, and a Masters in Public Policy (Tufts University). She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two sons, and their Labrador Retrievers Jersey and Bella.
