Anu Saptharishi

Anu is an Associate in the Corporate Program. In this role, she supports engagement with companies in the electric power, consumer products and technology sectors. In addition, she assists with team coordination and various research projects.

Prior to Ceres, Anu was an intern for EIRIS, a SRI research non-profit, rating companies on social and shareholder issues, and AIG Investments working with the sustainability team. While completing her master degree, she worked for Business for Social Responsibility and wrote, "Environmental, Social and Governance: Moving to Mainstream Investing?," a paper focused on the barriers to successfully incorporating ESG criteria into mainstream investing and possible solutions to those barriers.

Anu's other professional experience includes working as an environmental engineer for The Louis Berger Group and URS on wetland design and restoration projects. Anu holds a master degree in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University.
