As Director of Corporate Relations for the United Methodist Church General Board of Pension and Health Benefits, Vidette manages the General Board’s socially responsible investment program by monitoring proxy voting, filing shareholder resolutions and communicating with corporate management on corporate governance, environmental and social issues that are consistent with Church values. The General Board is a socially responsible investor for 74,000 clergy and lay employees of the Church and invests more than $14 billion dollars. Vidette joined the General Board in May 1981.
Vidette received a Bachelor of Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and pursued graduate studies at University of Nebraska Medical School. She serves on the boards of the Ceres and the Investment Committee of the United Methodist Foundation of the Northern Illinois Conference.
