Sandy joined Ceres in 2016 to help the Human Resources team meet the evolving needs of an expanding organization. In this role, she supports Ceres team members with benefits and hiring needs, works to foster employee engagement, and provides assistance for orientation and training efforts. Sandy also oversees Ceres’ intern programs.
Sandy brings a communications background to her role in Human Resources. She earned a BA in Journalism from the University of Maine in 2007. Thereafter, she filled a variety of writing, editing, and project management roles that cultivated an interest in bettering the daily working lives of her colleagues. She began focusing on a career in Human Resources in 2015, when she implemented an employee support group for working moms before joining Ceres.
