Mel joined Ceres in 2017 as Executive Associate to the CEO and President at Ceres. She is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to the CEO and President as well as acting as staff liaison to the Ceres Board of Directors.
Mel came to Ceres after beginning her professional career as an Administrative Assistant at the MIT Venture Mentoring Service. She is a 2015 graduate of the University of Vermont (UVM), receiving her BA in Environmental Studies. During her time at UVM, Mel served as Climate Justice Intern for 350 Vermont, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving the climate crisis through grassroots efforts. Mel also spent time as a canvasser for the Vermont Public Interest Group, advocating for consumer protection in the state of Vermont.
