Laura Devenney is a Senior Associate on the Carbon Asset Risk team. In this role, she coordinates team management, supports key projects, conducts research, and works with Ceres stakeholders to support dialogues and advance actions that prevent fossil fuel companies from wasting investor capital on developing high-cost, high-carbon reserves that may never be burned.
Laura joined Ceres in 2015 as a Senior Associate on the Communications team where she worked to develop and analyze Ceres’ multi-channel digital platforms. She also provided communications support to programmatic and operational teams.
Prior to Ceres, Laura managed global study programs at the University of Delaware and managed marketing and event operations at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship.
She holds a Masters of Business Administration from UD's Lerner College of Business & Economics, and a B.S. in Health Behavior Management from UD. She is trained on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) disclosure reporting standards.
