Kirsten joined Ceres in 2015 as a Senior Manager for Events and Sponsorship where she facilitates the strategic planning of, and oversees the development and execution of, annual Ceres Conference, biennial Investor Summit on Climate Risk and all other Ceres' special program events. Additionally she leads sponsorship outreach in partnership with the Ceres' relationship managers, and coordinates the appropriate integration of sponsors into Ceres’ events.

Prior to Ceres, Kirsten was a Program Director at Connecticut League of Conservation Leaders and an Independent Contractor for 1000 Friends of Connecticut. Kirsten became involved in these organizations through her many years as a passionate grassroots advocate for sustainable land use. She earned her B.S. degree at Tufts University in Occupational Therapy. When Kirsten isn’t coordinating Ceres’ various events, she is hiking the AT or walking along the shores of Plum Island and the Parker River Nature Preserve.
