Julie joined Ceres in 2017 as the new Senior Manager for Food and Capital Markets. Julie engages with investors and produces research on investor and company exposure to material risks due to deforestation, climate change, and poor ocean management.

Prior to Ceres, Julie worked for 15 years in food manufacturing, including finance and marketing positions at Unilever and Kraft Foods. Most recently, Julie managed global innovation and new product development at Ben & Jerry's in Burlington, Vermont.

Julie earned her PhD from the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources of the University of Vermont. She also holds an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BS from Cornell University.
