Senior Associate, Corporate Program May 08, 2012: Ceres is soliciting applications for the position of Senior Associate, Corporate Program to support the work on the implementation of the 21st Corporation Roadmap and to support the expansion and communications of this program. This a full-time position, based in Boston, MA, that will report to a Director on the Corporate Program.
Director of Development May 01, 2012: Ceres is currently seeking an creative and entrepreneurial Director of Development to lead the fundraising efforts of a fast-paced, not-for-profit, organization with a $8+ million budget, approximately $6 million of which comes from philanthropic sources. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional to build on Ceres’ solid achievements to date.
Associate, Policy Program Apr 30, 2012: Ceres is soliciting applications for the new position of Associate, Policy Program. This position will be located in Boston, MA. This opening is designed for a highly motivated, self-starter looking to be an advocate for Ceres’ policy program goals. The position reports to the Manager of the Policy Program.
Coordinator for the Executive Director / Chief Operating Officer Apr 30, 2012: We seek an energetic go-getter to support the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer (ED) of Ceres. This is a crucial position, providing administrative support, to the ED, and would also provide limited administrative support to our Industry Programs staff.
Associate, Finance, Operations Apr 19, 2012: The Associate will be a key member of the Finance team in its efforts to support the organization’s program activities. This position offers an opportunity for a trustworthy and energetic individual eager to grow professionally. While the work will include a significant amount of data entry and administrative tasks, there will also be opportunity to help shape policies and procedures and work on special projects. The Associate will report to the Chief Financial Officer. This position is full-time and based in our Boston, MA office.
Senior Associate, Individual Giving Mar 07, 2012: The Senior Associate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Development, and will work as a member of a six-person development team to cultivate and support major and individual donor activities. S/he will also work closely with the incoming Director of Development.
Associate, Foundations, Development Feb 15, 2012: The Associate’s efforts will be focused on writing proposals to raise funds from national and regional foundations, and to a smaller extent, from corporate foundations and federal agencies. In addition, he/she will draft grant reports in response to these awards. The Associate will work closely with program staff across the organization to articulate strategic plans and document success and progress toward goals to funders.
Manager, Corporate Program (Food & Beverage Sector) Jan 25, 2012: Ceres is looking to hire a Manager, Corporate Program (Food & Beverage Sector). This position works with Ceres company members in the food and beverage sector to help them advance sustainability across their business. This role advises Ceres company members on sustainability strategy and reporting, and facilitates Ceres' signature, high impact stakeholder engagements, bringing together companies and their investor, NGO and labor stakeholders for dialogues that help raise the bar on corporate sustainability performance. This is a full-time position that will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate & Water Program.
Summer Internships Apr 01, 2011: Ceres’ interns support program staff working with a wide variety of constituents within the Ceres network: environmental activists, investors, funders, and corporations. While providing some administrative support, interns will primarily work in one of the following areas using skills in research, project coordination, IT and communications. We are seeking a small number of dynamic, committed interns who would find it exciting to be at the center of one of the most effective corporate social responsibility groups in the world!
