Sustainability Report
The Ceres Sustainability Report presents Ceres’ sustainability performance from 2007-2009, and more importantly, it lays out our organizational strategy for 2011 and beyond to improve on our performance. For the first time in our 22-year history, Ceres is setting forth quantitative sustainability targets and goals—highlighting our commitment to not only help companies and investors be more sustainable, but to improve our own sustainability practices as well.
This report is a snapshot of Ceres, but moving forward it will be used as a critical management tool to help us track performance and identify areas in which we need to set stronger accountability mechanisms to achieve improvements.
We believe the purpose of this report is to look both backward and forward. The report looks back at our performance over the course of three calendar years: 2007 - 2009. It also looks forward to new initiatives and goals for 2011 that the Ceres Sustainability Team has set.
